About the project

When Hisense partnered with EDC in 2022, the objective was to accelerate the brand’s growth in Portugal — a market where consumer electronics competition is fierce and brand recognition is earned through sustained, multi-channel presence.

EDC took on the full picture: press relations, social media management, influencer marketing, and design, all integrated under one strategy and one team.

The partnership built steadily across three years, and 2024 became the proof point: it was Hisense’s best year in the Portuguese market. The numbers reflect a level of media performance that is exceptional in any sector. PR value reached €4,262,385 — a 50% increase on 2023. Total reach hit 10,375,153 people, up 25% year on year. Advertising value equivalent grew by 37% to €1,429,099. Approximately 500 articles were published throughout the year, with consistent television presence and coverage in the leading national publications.

On social media, Hisense built a growing and engaged community — with consistent increases in followers and engagement across platforms, driven by content that balanced product storytelling with cultural relevance.

The influencer programme ran in parallel, with EDC managing creator partnerships that generated authentic reach among Hisense’s core consumer audiences. The lesson from Hisense is simple: when every discipline works together — PR feeding social, design supporting activations, influencers amplifying editorial — the results compound. 2024 was the year that compound effect became unmistakable.
